Picture
Chi (Like The Tea) is a passionate professional vocalist, songwriter, vocal coach, and music teacher. She is the founder of Inspired Soul Music International and Food for the Soul Publishing, independent music and publishing companies through which she produced her first inspirational album “Divine Transformation: His Grace My Testimony”. As a professional inspirational speaker and producer, Chi attributes her success and endurance to the hardships she has had to face and speaks publicly about them as domestic violence survivor and inspirational speaker. Her message is simple, “Your past does not dictate your future. Tap into your inner power, be empowered, and overcome"! She is the producer and champion spokeswoman of For Our Daughters & Sons ~ Breaking The Cycle of Domestic Violence Through The Arts, her signature annual benefit concert. “Music is the core of my being; it has empowered me to never give up despite the hardships I have had to face.” Chi’s mission through music is to inspire, educate and empower.

Lyrical operatic notes; melodic inspirational soul and angelic contemporary ballads are the tri-union vocal styles that soar from the spirit of CHI; a compassionate, humble and inspired positive energy life source. Her unique vocal versatility empowers, inspires, motivates and invokes emotions that will leave you in blissful dismay.

You did a wonderful job not only leading the musical selections, but also with incorporating history and key aspects of Jamaa while engaging the entire audience. Your program was the highlight of my year thus far!! You have a true gift and I am very grateful that you are sharing it with our scholars.
